Is DUBAI MARINA WORTH VISITING?

The Marina Walk and nearby JBR Walk are in my opinion one of the main attractions of Dubai where you get a chance to see luxury cars and fashionable people. Other than the Dubai Fountain, there are few places like the Marina and JBR Walk in Dubai and well worth a visit

DUBAI MARINA

Is an affluent residential neighborhood known for The Beach at JBR, a leisure complex with al fresco dining and sandy stretches to relax on. Smart cafes and pop-up craft markets line waterside promenade Dubai Marina Walk, while Dubai Marina Mall is packed with chain and luxury fashion brands. Upscale yachts cruise through the large man-made marina, where activities range from jet-skiing to skydiving.

CAN YOU WALK AROUND DUBAI MARINA?

There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas of the marina, including the Marina Walk, a beachfront paved walkway with 305 outlets and 69 restaurants to keep you entertained — not to mention active, as walking the whole area featuring seven km of pedestrian walkway will take you a full day!

DUBAI’S JUMEIRAH BEACH RESIDENCE

JBR Dubai, otherwise known as Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Residence, has loads of restaurants, bars and things to do from cinemas to mini golf, and of course a super free beach.

MARINA BEACH

A free, late night activity to enjoy in Chennai is a long walk on the beach. At Marina, you can enjoy cosy walks by the beach and soak in the sea breeze. … You can pick up snacks at food stalls on and around the beach.

JUMEIRAH LAKES TOWERS.

The Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a large development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which consists of 80 towers being constructed along the edges of three artificial lakes as well as the JLT Embankment of 8 towers facing Jumeirah Islands.

Commercial Investment Opportunity Ayia Napa Cyprus

COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY

The proposed project is a 4* Hotel to be constructed at the attractive area of Sirens Bay of Ayia Thekla area, near the newly constructed Ayia Napa marina. It’s a luxury 4* beach Resort with 206 Guests Rooms and fully loaded facilities such Restaurants, Bars , SPA , Fitness, Swimming Pools, Children Areas, Hairdressing saloon , Conference Rooms etc.; in 17’000 m² building.

COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY PRESENTATION – EXPOSURE – SERVICE ANASELIA BEACH RESORT

Industry Overview A beach resort is not a new business in the hospitality industry; it has long been in existence but only just recently like several decades back revolved into a better package than before. It is usually a place of fun and relaxation for locals and tourists who want to be close to the beach, while still enjoying the amenities of a resort. A beach resort is like other resorts but is usually situated close to the beach, and is a place for fun lovers and those seeking a retreat of sorts. The hospitality industry which consists of hotels and resorts has experienced a strong growth from 2010 to 2019. The growth has been due to increased travel globally due to a boom in international tourism. The next five years (2022 to 2026) will see this industry continue to boom, as the economy grows and allows more consumers to have more funds in which they will use for vacationing and beach resort trips. The industry is seen as an $864 billion with a projected annual growth of 4.3% that has employed over 700,000 businesses that have employed over 4 million people. Cyprus has continued to lead in the beach resorts business due to a large and beautiful number of beaches in the country, while the Middle East has led in the area of having expensive rates. The consumer group for beach resorts is rising and will continue to do so in 2022 as more people will use their mobile devices as well as apps to check out beach resorts, make their reservations and plan their holidays. Resorts are now competing with hotels in terms of allowing customers to have seminars, conferences, conventions and symposiums combined with Beach Holidays. This has opened up more of the target market for the resort business allowing them to tap into areas that were majorly for city hotels. Also, beach resorts have received a boost from couples and families who prefer the privacy and simplicity to that of hotels. This is also another target market that has been opened up for the resort business. • Executive Summary This feasibility study report refers to the work done to assess the viability of a proposed new hotel to be established, in the area of Ayia Thekla (Ayia Napa – Cyprus). Allow Me To Show You Around..

The Marina has overtaken the most beautiful stretch of shoreline on the island, bringing unadulterated seaside beauty right at your doorstep. Golden sand, abundant marine life, beguiling sunsets and a sublime seabed and underwater caves set an ideal scenery for all kinds of water sports and other activities.

The marina is designed to host around 600 yachts in both wet and dry storage, featuring a truly unique ‘finger style’ berthing, guaranteeing prompt access whatever the weather. Its basin can accommodate the deep drafts of sailing boats and superyachts, while its specially designed wave absorbing breakwater eliminates harbour chop and storm wave agitation throughout the year.

Still, the marina offers more to seafarers and lovers than to their vessels, boasting the ultimate dining, nightlife, recreational and shopping experience one can find across the island – and far beyond in the Mediterranean Sea. A private Beach Club offering an idyllic scenery for relaxation and socialising with its large infinity edge pool, the private cabana areas and the bar and lounge area, couples the paradisiac scenery with genuine rest.

A mere walk from the berths and residences stretches the shopping area, offering anything the body needs and the eye craves, from top-quality brands in fashion and jewellery down to everyday items, services, accessories, marine supplies and much more.

For those of you in the quest for rejuvenation and a mood boost, special care has been taken: fitness facilities and a fully equipped SPA will cater to your needs.

Undoubtedly, the Ayia Napa Marina encapsulates the essence of what life is all about. Can you picture yourself and your family somewhere in this heavenly setting?

Ayia Napa is a Mediterranean resort town on the southeast coast of Cyprus, known for its beaches. The town’s main landmark is the storied, Venetian-era Ayia Napa Monastery, which stands in the central square of Plateia Seferi, surrounded by bars and clubs. Freshly caught seafood is served at Ayia Napa Harbour’s busy tavernas, while adjoining Pantachou Beach offers a stretch of golden sand.

Nissi Beach is a popular beach in the resort of Ayia Napa, Cyprus. The beach stretches for 500 metres and the water is clean enough for the beach to have been awarded the blue flag designation. The beach, which runs the length of its own cove, takes its name from the small islet of Nissi located close to the coast.

With its crystal clear waters and gently shelving white sand, Nissi Beach is gorgeous to look at and a great place to chill out and top up your tan.

It has a selection of places to eat and drink, various watersports including jet-ski, banana boats and pedalos. It also boasts a diving centre, a volleyball court and of course, toilets, showers and changing No Visit to Ayia Napa is complete without some time spent at Nissi Beach. It’s not only Ayia Napa’s biggest daytime hotspot but one of the most popular beaches on the whole island of Cyprus. Everyday from May until October beach parties are held at the Nissi Bay Beach Bar featuring some of Ayia Napa’s best known DJs as well as guest artists and celebrities. Expect special guest appearances, dance contests, foam parties and all kinds of fun and shenanigans.

In early November the sun loungers are packed away and the watersports put away until April. Winter temperatures can reach up to 25 degrees so visiting Nissi Beach in winter is peaceful and calm.

One of the most popular things to do in Ayia Napa is to go on a boat trip. There’s no experience like feeling the sun on your skin and sea breeze in your hair as you cruise along the stunning East coast of Cyprus.

All boat trips from Ayia Napa will visit the famous sea caves, with most also viewing the dramatic peak of Cape Greco and the impossibly gorgeous Blue Lagoon at Konnos Bay. Some of the longer boat trips also sail past the busy beaches of Protaras and on to the Famagusta viewpoint where you can witness the devastation of the ghost town of Varosha. Swimming stops are included with all boat trips. During the early and late summer months there is also a chance of spotting Dolphins and turtles around the coastline close to Ayia Napa.

All sorts of boat trips to suit everyone. Chilled out lazy cruises, party boats, family fun, adventure sea tours, sunset trips and even private sailings for groups, couples and celebrations

The coast on the eastern side of Cyprus is dominated by the dramatic peak of Cape Greco. You can also view the impressive rock structures at the sea caves and enjoy the breeze as you sail towards the ghost town of Famagusta on a full day cruise. Some boat trips journey past the popular holiday resort of Protaras and most stop at the pretty cove at Konnos bay or the nearby Blue Lagoon for a swim stop.

Ayia Napa is Peter Pan land. Never grow up, never grow old. Live the Dream.

The small chapel of Ayia Thekla is built between the municipalities of Ayia Napa and Sotira Religiously it belongs to Sotira.

It is the “apple of the contention” between the two Municipalities who state that the chapel belongs to their periphery and this is not irrelevant to the archaeological wealth that is believed to exist on the shores of St. Thekla.

About Pernera

Pernera is a small yet pretty harbour town on the eastern coast of Cyprus. It radiates a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere, so typical of the Mediterranean. The new floodlit boardwalk and coastal path means Protaras is now less than a 20-minute ocean-side stroll away from Pernera, day or night Pernera is an area on the east coast of Cyprus situated between the well known tourist destination of Protaras and the smaller village of Kapparis. It is often combined with neighbouring Protaras especially as there is no clear distinction of where one ends and the other begins.

There’s two resorts which are linked by a beachfront walkway, popular all year round with walkers, runners and those taking a leisurely stroll to admire the sea views, the path is lit at night and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, with a mixture of pavement and decking, with ramps alongside steps when necessary.

In less than 20 minutes you can walk between the two areas from Fig Tree Bay in Protaras to Polyxenia Beach – or longer if you stop at one of the restaurants or seating areas along the way!

Although quieter than neighbouring Protaras, Pernera still has many bars to choose from and something for a range of interests and ages. If you are looking for a quiet drink, or music and maybe a spot of karaoke you will be able to find it in Pernera.  There are several good quality restaurants to choose from with options to suit all tastes and budgets.

About  Protaras

One of my favorite locations has to be the Church of Prophet Elias. It is built on a steep cliff in the Protaras area and is visible from miles away. This chapel was built in 1984 and was built on the site of another smaller Byzantine chapel. Access to the chapel is a bit difficult as anyone who wishes to visit it has to climb 156 stairs! To which I have walked up and down on so many occasions May I add I carried one of my children in my arms and my second child in her pram, The Views are to die for especially at night.

Let Me Show You Around Skarinou

Skarinou is ideally situated between Limassol to the west, Larnaca to the east and Nicosia to the north. All approximately 30 minutes drive.. The nearest beach is a fifteen minute drive away and Larnaca airport is a 25 minute drive. The village benefits from having a large supermarket. The village of Skarinou is built at an average altitude of 190 meters above sea level and is the “heart” of Cyprus. It is on the road axis of the island that connects Nicosia, Limassol and Golden Donkeys Farm is located in Skarinou village, halfway between Larnaca and Limassol. When building it, we were based on our love and care for sustaining the Cyprus traditions. And we really wanted to help preserve the heritage of Cyprus – friendly and industrious animals, which many centuries faithfully served the Cypriots. After all, it is the Cyprus donkeys, who were the indispensable tool: they transported food and wine, they mode of transportation on the island for many centuries, it was the donkeys

that helped in the production of olive oil, turning the heavy millstones, and in the manufacture of wine, carrying grapes from mountain plantations were the primary Activities and Places of Interest.

Visit the church of Guiding Virgin Mary and the chapels of Saint George and Apostle Loucas. The ‘Environmental Information Centre of Larnaca Mountainous Areas’ – located in the village is worth a visit in order to learn more about 18 rural areas of Larnaca region (Flora, Fauna and Cultural elements).  Visit the Golden Donkeys Farm and Dipotamos Donkey Farm to enjoy a ride in nature and taste donkey milk. You can also see the Donkey milk beauty products. Go to Ktima Georgiadi to have the experience of a Greek Music night with plenty of food and wine. Skarinou taverna, Olive Restaurant, Classic Car Inn and Ktima Georgiadi are very good options of tasting Cyprus traditional food. Coffee shops are also available in the village.

Skarinou village

Right at the heart of Cyprus, 190 meters above sea level and surrounded by hills, lies the picturesque village of Skarinou. Located near three of the main towns of the island, Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca, right off the main motorway interconnecting these three towns, Skarinou combines the qualities of country life with the luxuries of life in town. Built on the side of the hill with the unique Cypriot terrain as its background, Skarinou preserves its traditional architecture. The houses resemble the old traditional stone buildings reminiscent of days passed and gone. And as with most small villages in Cyprus, Skarinous’ dominant landmark is the church of The Guiding Virgin Mary (Panagia i Odigidria) which stands proud and tall at the entrance of the village, welcoming both locals and visitors. Furthermore, the old style identity of the village remains intact with its narrow streets leading to squares and natural openings. Houses with central courtyards and heavy, big entrance doors (outer-doors known in Greek as ksoportia) are still found all over the village which is built in different levels due to the morphology of the ground.

In this small village, where architectural structure blends in with nature and modernization co-exists with tradition, culture and customs have survived through time. A walk through the village may lead you to see women embroidering or knitting in their courtyards or even making the traditional halloumi (Cypriot cheese). Do not be surprised if you are called in by these hospitable people to be treated to a homemade sweet or a cup of coffee as this is considered natural and is very common.

Nearest Airport:  Larnaka (approx 61 km)
